Shilla Duty Free to open shop at Gimpo Airport

Shilla Duty Free, operated by Hotel Shilla, will open its shop at Gimpo Airport on Jan. 9, expanding its presence to all three important airports in Korea, adding Incheon and Jeju.

Shilla announced Wednesday that the brand new 730-square-meter duty-free shop at Gimpo Airport may have a variety of a few a hundred manufacturers of liquor and tobacco and a few 30 manufacturers of type and cosmetics, targeting trade travelers.

Those who fly via Gimpo are oftentimes traveling for business, according to Shilla Duty Free, with the bulk 51 percentage being Koreans, adopted by 29 percentage Japanese and 11 percentage Chinese.

Considering the passenger demographics, the gifts bought by Shilla on the airport will talk about reward units of diversified confectionery and wine, favored by trade and international travelers, the brand said.

Shilla Duty Free runs shops in Asia’s important global airports, adding Incheon Airport, Singapore’s Changi Airport and Hong Kong International Airport.
